Administrative History of Biographical Sketch: Gerald Wallace was a member of the Saint John police force for 34 years and was chief from 1965-69. After his retirement he engaged in research on the history of the Saint John police department, the City Hall buildings, and the various city markets, His research files on the police department were turned over to Peter McGahan and William Higgins. Mr. Wallace died in 1985.
